The White Fir (also known as Abies alba, or A. glauca or A. Canadensis) is one of the most widespread conifers in Central Europe.
The needles and branches are distilled to extract a fine essential oil rich in anti-inflammatory and expectorant terpenes, is used as much in pectoral candies as in syrups or lotions and pain-relieving and calming oils.

Safety considerations: Keep away from children, air, heat, and light. Dilute before use. It may cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended before use. For people with allergic tendency systematically perform an allergy test before use. Never apply essential oils directly on mucous membranes, nose, eyes, and auditory canal. Should avoid contact with eyes.
For external use, only! Do not use essential oils in intravenous or intramuscular injections. The use of essential oils is not recommended with children, pregnant or lactating women, elderly persons, or persons who are suffering from chronic diseases.
Never heat an essential oil for diffusion.
