Description: Picea mariana is a slow-growing, small, upright evergreen coniferous tree averaging between 15-50ft tall. It often has a characteristic cluster of branches top forming a club or crow's nest. This widespread Canadian conifer offers a very refreshing, very energetic, and revitalizing essential oil. Dr. Pénoël recommends it to tone the nervous and immune system, to help cure bronchitis in case of chronic fatigue and muscle and rheumatic pain. When you need to revitalize and energize the entire body, put 10 to 20 drops of black spruce essential oil in the palm of your hand and massage the lower back region (near the waist) for 1 to 2 minutes. The Black Spruce is the most common conifer in the boreal forest. Its tapered silhouette looms in all wetlands with acidic soil. It represents courage, resilience, and the importance of reaching for the highest peaks and achieving our goals with courage, confidence, and patience. Diffused for inhalation in hot water or an electric diffuser, it strengthens the immune system, sanitizes the lungs and the ambient air. We can apply it on inflamed areas and around the adrenals to increase our energy and immune defenses.
